Before You Apply
About the Program
The ASRPA-PSGH Innovation & Research Seed Grants Program provides seed funding of GHS 20,000 per project to support early-career pharmacists, pharmacy students, and academic-practice teams with high-potential research or innovation ideas. Funded projects run for 9 to 12 months.
Who Should Apply
You are eligible if you are:
Part of an academic-practice collaborative team
An early-career pharmacist (1-8 years post PhD)
A final-year or postgraduate pharmacy student
Priority Tracks
Applications must fall under one of the following:
Pharmacy Practice, Public Health & Systems Innovation.
Basic & Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences
Translational & Clinical Pharmacy Research

How to Apply
- Read these instructions carefully before starting
- Prepare your proposal following the prescribed structure (Max. 2 pages)
- Title of Proposed Project
- Proposal Summary (Technical and Lay Summaries 300 words each)
- Problem Statement What challenge or gap does this project or need address? Why does it matter?
- Objectives Two to three specific things the applicant aims to achieve with the grant.
- Proposed Activities/Methods What will the applicant actually do with the funding? Step by step.
- Expected Outcomes What will change or be produced as a result? How will it benefit the applicant and others?
- Timeline Fill out the table in the portal
- Budget Breakdown A simple table containing items, costs and brief justifications for each budget line
- Font: Arial, minimum 11 pt, 1.15 line spacing
- Ensure your proposed project falls under one of the three priority tracks
- Complete the online application form in full
- Attach all required supporting documents
- CV/Resume (Max. 2 pages)
- Letter of support from institution. This should confirm affiliation and Early Career status of main applicant
- Budget file
- Submit before the deadline
