About us

The Pem-Davila Foundation for Empowering Women in STEM is dedicated to closing the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We believe that when women thrive in STEM, communities and economies thrive with them.
Founded by Prof. Martha Davila-Garcia, Prof. Robert Peter Biney, and Prof. Priscilla Kolibea Mante — three academics with deep roots in scientific research and education — the Foundation brings together decades of expertise and a shared conviction: that talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not.
